Meet Dr. Jaibir Pannu
Dr. Jaibir Pannu is a board-eligible otolaryngologist specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of conditions affecting the ears, nose, throat, head, and neck. He completed his Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery residency at Loma Linda University in 2025 after earning his Doctor of Medicine degree from Saint Louis University School of Medicine.
Throughout his training, Dr. Pannu developed extensive experience caring for patients with a wide range of ENT conditions, including sinus and allergy disorders, hearing loss, thyroid and parathyroid disease, pediatric ear, nose and throat conditions, sleep-related breathing disorders, voice and swallowing concerns, and head and neck cancers. He is committed to delivering evidence-based, patient-centered care and helping patients achieve lasting improvements in their health and quality of life.
In addition to his clinical expertise, Dr. Pannu has contributed to numerous peer-reviewed publications and research initiatives in the field of otolaryngology. His work has focused on head and neck oncology, pediatric ENT care, healthcare outcomes, and post-operative recovery. His research has been published in respected medical journals including The Laryngoscope, Head & Neck, and the Journal of Adolescent and Young Adult Oncology.
Dr. Pannu has presented his research at national and international medical conferences, including meetings hosted by the American Academy of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery Foundation (AAO-HNSF) and the American Thyroid Association. His academic contributions reflect a continued commitment to advancing the field of otolaryngology and improving patient outcomes.
Beyond clinical practice and research, Dr. Pannu is passionate about community service and healthcare accessibility. He has participated in numerous outreach programs providing cancer screenings, health education, and medical services to underserved populations. His dedication to service reflects his belief that high-quality healthcare should be accessible to all members of the community.
Dr. Pannu maintains certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and has received recognition for both his academic achievements and research contributions, including the Saint Louis University Spark Microgrant and the Otolaryngology Student Case Challenge Award.
As a member of the ResurgENT Head & Neck Specialists team, Dr. Pannu is dedicated to providing compassionate, comprehensive ENT care to patients throughout Riverside and the Inland Empire. He believes in building strong patient relationships through education, communication, and personalized treatment plans designed to meet each individual's unique healthcare needs.

Dr. Pannu's research interests include investigating survival outcomes for head and neck cancer patients, the impact of healthcare insurance on cancer mortality, and improving patient satisfaction with non-opioid post-operative analgesia. He has presented his research at various national and international conferences, including the AAO-HNSF Annual Meeting and the American Thyroid Association Annual Meeting.
In addition to his academic and clinical work, Dr. Pannu has been deeply involved in community outreach, providing free cancer screenings and health services to underserved populations in the St. Louis area. His volunteer work extends to several public health initiatives focused on improving healthcare access.
Dr. Pannu is committed to ongoing professional development, attending specialized courses such as the 19th Annual State of the Art Concepts in Laryngeal Conservation Course and the Institute for Excellence in Upper Airway Stimulation for ENT Residents. He holds certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
